MindFit Method Training Plan (3-month commitment)

Session 1:  How The Brain Works 

In this section you will learn about the neuroscience of change by understanding the brain and motivation. This is your introduction to building self awareness of the inner workings of your mind and body and how change actually happens. 

 

Session 2:  Know Your Zone

This is the beginning of introducing the polyvagal theory and how it applies to everyday life but especially sport or goals. Learning to understand the language of your body and what it actually means will enable you to make more mindful coherent decisions to approach your training and goals.

 

Session 3:  Harness What You Hear;  Mastering Your Mindset

We will explore the nature of your subconscious mind and how much your thoughts influence every aspect of your being. These thoughts come from the rational mind based on their own interpretation of the bodily instincts. Having built the growing self awareness from the previous sessions, you will be better able to make lasting change. You will also find out where and how these beliefs came from and confront those subconscious beliefs holding you back from optimal performance

 

Session 4:  BRAVR  Bring Your Vision To Life

Here is where we start incorporating all the levels of Mind, Body, Feelings. "What fires together wires together," and we can be intentional and purposeful in how we want to perform.  We teach you this amazing framework from Positive Performance-Lindsey Wilson. Using the power of visualization along with heightened emotional states, you can create the internal conditions to match your desired outcomes with coherance. 

 

Session 5:  ENVISION PERFORMANCE-Zoning In

We take a deeper dive into polyvagal theory and the play zone and how it works for performance. This section is also based on the Inverted U theory of optimal performance. Understanding your Zones and how to manage your energy will help you hack your system toward peak performance. We will identify your different ideal performance states and how to get yourself there through managing your energy. You will also learn some specific visualizaiton skills for pre-competition to get yourself and keep yourself in The Zone. 

 

Session 6:  ReVision:  Zoning In For Precision 

This is our chance to review your preparation and use of all the tools after an event. We can start fine tuning your processes and make adjustments based on actual experience. This will really help put everything together and give a deeper understanding of our MindFIT Method

 

Session 7:  Reset Ritual:  Mental Endurance For The Long Game

Here we will explore your strengths, values, and goals along with your past performances and go through an indepth process to learn where and how to Reset while you are mid-competition. We will give you an easy solid reset ritual to use during times and spaces to help you reframe and refocus. 

 

Session 8:  MindFit Method:  Next Level Vision

In this process we will look at how to give yourself appropriate and relevant feedback post competition by managing your self-assessment process. You will learn to how to manage your self talk. We focus on critiquing and not criticizing so we don't waste time, energy, or emotion on the wrong things. You will learn Revision Visualization to correct errors, envision the ideal, and carve the space to make these happen and then move on. 

 

Session 9:  MindFIT Coaching: Personalized Bonus Content

Coach Mary has gotten to know you really well by this point and we will do some deeper work here based on your needs. This could include the Peak Performance Reset, Working with pain and injury, BRICCS Assessment, MindBody self management techniques, Subconscious work, etc.

 

Session 10  Envisioning What’s Next: Crafting Your Road Map

We will process your experience with the MindFIT Method and focus on your growth and strengths. We will develop a collaborative roadmap for your to utilize the tools you've learned toward any of your future goals. We will do some future self exploration with visualization to confront subsconscious limiting belief, propelling you to the next level.
